The IST’s librarians are available by appointment and can assist you with your documentary research on occupational health by helping you to access and navigate their collection of:
- Around 4,000 monographs, reference works, reports and brochures, all of which are listed in Western Switzerland’ Library Network (RERO) database;
- Several thousand journals in an on-line format (from the University of Lausanne/Lausanne University Hospital – Pérunil) and to over 40 newsletters and journals in a paper format (active collections and partially complete paper collections catalogued in RERO);
- Specialised occupational health (NIOSHTIC, OSHLINE, INRS, CISILO, Canadiana, HSELINE), biomedical (Medline, Embase, PsycINFO, Biosis, CINAHL) or multidisciplinary (Web of Science) bibliographical databases, as well as the Registry of Toxic Effects of Chemical Substances (RTECS).
The collection can be consulted on-site (a photocopier and a printer are available) or, if you have a RERO readers card, the library’s documentation can even be borrowed, except for periodicals and reference works. A RERO readers card can be made on the spot.
