From Lausanne train station

Take metro m2 (runs every 3 to 6 minutes) direction CROISETTES and get off at the CHUV stop. The ride lasts about 8 minutes. From the exit, walk down the Bugnon street 50 meters and once you reach the sign “urgences turn right”, take the pedestrian crossing towards the building of Fondation Claude Verdan (Musée de la main). Continue straight ahead along this building, 50 meters ahead you will find the entrance of Bugnon 21 (Champ de l’Air). Follow the signs in the building and go down to floor 03 where the IST reception is found.

If you are looking for some serious exercise, it is a 25 minutes uphill walk from the train station. Cross the street and take rue du Petit-Chêne uphill. Once you reach Place Saint-François, cross towards rue de Bourg (a paved street) and then rue Marterey and straight ahead to Rue du Bugnon. Once you reach the Fondation Claude Verdan (Musée de la main), turn left and walk along this building, 50 meters ahead you will find the entrance of Bugnon 21 (Champ de l’Air). Follow the signs inside and go down to floor 03 where the IST reception is found.

From the highway

If you are coming from highway A1, follow first the signs to LAUSANNE NORD, then take the Vennes / Hôpitaux exit on highway A9. Turn left after the exit. Then you have two options.

• Park in the Vennes P + R that is right by the exit and from there take the metro m2 and get off at the CHUV stop.
• Go on driving in the direction Hôpitaux and park at the CHUV parking (more expensive). You access it on your left at the level of the hospital. From the parking, walk back to rue du Bugnon and go down 50 meters. Once you reach the sign “urgences, turn right”, take the pedestrian crossing towards the Fondation Claude Verdan (Musée de la main). Continue straight ahead along this building, 50 meters ahead you will find the entrance of Bugnon 21 (Champ de l’Air). Follow the signs inside and go down to floor 03 where the IST reception is found.
