For nearly fifteen years, our Institute has been offering the only postgraduate training (MAS: university master’s degree in advanced studies) in the field of occupational health in Switzerland. Organised in collaboration with the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (Ecole polytechnique fédérale) in Zurich through its Center for Organizational and Occupational Sciences (ZOA) and available in French, German and English, this programme welcomes doctors, engineers, chemists, psychologists and other graduates intending to follow one of the three training courses on offer: occupational medicine, occupational hygiene and ergonomics. Switzerland is actually one of the few countries to bring together on the same curriculum the specialists in occupational health, thereby encouraging multidisciplinarity of practices while respecting the identity and specific nature of each of the professions.
The course is also open to people wanting to pursue continuing professional development in occupational health (without being officially registered as a postgraduate student).
