The health@work PhD programme is offered jointly by the Institute for Work and Health of the University of Lausanne and the Division of Public and Organizational Health of the University of Zurich and ETH Zurich. This doctoral school is funded by the Swiss National Science Foundation’s Pro*Doc programme, and is the only one in Switzerland to offer specific PhD level courses in occupational health. Its goals are to promote education, research and expertise in fields related to occupational health.
PhD students registered at a Swiss or foreign university, and whose thesis topic is related to occupational health, can enroll in this programme and receive high quality training for their future roles as scientists and experts in this field. This programme allows PhD students to acquire basic skills and knowledge, to establish a network with other PhD students and researchers working in the same fields in other institutions, and to benefit from structured support for their work.
