Biographie
Née en 1955 ; études de médecine à l’Université de Zurich, diplôme en 1982 ; travaux cliniques.
1986-1990 Institut für Hygiene und Arbeitsphysiologie (IHA) ; ETHZ assistante scientifique, thèse : effets aigus sur la fonction pulmonaire des personnes sensibles à la fumée passive ; recherches liées aux symptômes réspiratoires chez les populations d'agriculteurs.
1991 Clinique de Médecine du travail, Bromptom Hospital, Londres.
1992-1996 IHA, ETHZ chercheur : développement du cours postgrade en Santé au Travail ; EU-BIOMED projet : prévalence et facteurs de risque pour maladies pulmonaires obstructives dans l’agriculture ; projet FNS : effets des endotoxines.
1996-2003 IHA, chercheur senior et co-directrice du groupe Travail + Santé ; développement et implémentation d’un management de qualité dans le cours postgrade Santé au Travail.
2002 habilitation : motivated attention and breathing.
Dès 2003 professeur ordinaire de la Faculté de Biologie et Médecine, Lausanne ; dès 2005 directrice de l’IST.
